Senator Jane Earll Will Attempt to Defend Her Anti-Gun Votes!

On Wednesday, November 24 at 6pm, your State Senator, Jane Earll (R-49) is going to be at Bob’s Gun Shop in McKean, to defend her vote against the recently passed “Castle Doctrine” legislation, as well as her vote to close the so-called “Florida Loophole.”

In the past Senator Earll has claimed to be friend to the Second Amendment, but her recent actions show she cannot be trusted to defend our rights. The recently passed “Castle Doctrine” self-defense legislation is huge step forward for law-abiding citizens and their legal right to be able to protect themselves. Anti-gunner have created the myth that the “Florida Loophole” allows people who are unable to get resident concealed carry permits, to instead get Florida non-resident permits to intentionally avoid state law. This accusation could not be more false. In truth, Florida has stricter standards than Pennsylvania, making their non-resident permit more difficult to qualify for. While Florida does issue a high number of non-resident permits, it is solely due to the high standards, which ultimately increases the number of states that recognize the permit, including Pennsylvania.

Based on Senator Earll’s recent votes, it is her belief that law-abiding citizens do not have the right to protect themselves or even respect the concealed carry permit system. Please go to Bob’s Gun Shop on Wednesday, November 24 at 6pm and let Senator Earll know that your Second Amendment rights are important to you and she needs to stop voting against them. If you are unable to attend, please call Senator Earll and express your disappointment with her recent votes. Senator Earll can be reached at (717) 787-8927.
